We had a great time today watching all those little boys and girls play ball! They did so well and the weather was absolutely perfect! It was so funny watching them hit the ball and then just stand there while everyone kept saying, "Run! Run!" Mommy and Daddy were so proud of our little man!!

Madalynn is finally walking. I guess she wanted to wait until she was 14 months old just like her Mommy did. ;)

The weather was so beautiful last weekend, and we couldn't wait to get out and enjoy it! Uncle Stevie and cousins Tucker and Riley came over as well which made it even more fun.

Finally, we were able to successfully have Madalynn's one year old portrait session yesterday. We were able to get a lot of great shots and it was very hard deciding which pictures to purchase. Of course, Mommy loved them all. Plus, the fact that Mady wasn't as shy this time and the camera was able to capture more smiles from her sweet little face. Our precious little girl is growing up so fast, and it is still hard to wrap my brain around the fact that she is one year old now.

Snow in Sandy Run

It's been 7 years since Troy and I last saw snow. Needless, to say we were amazed when the snow started falling yesterday afternoon around 3:30 pm and didn't stop until the wee hours of Saturday morning. We still can't get over how much snow we received---8 inches!! We had to enjoy it while it lasted though because it sure was melting fast. Dawson has always wanted to see snow so he was pleased as punch when he could actually play in it as well!! :) Madalynn wasn't as thrilled as her brother but she did find ways of having her own fun too. What a wonderful weekend!!!
