This had to be one of our favorite parks while at Disney! Let's just say we were born to be wild. All the shows here are amazing and well worth the wait time. I would have loved to have spent two days here but we got a lot accomplished in just the one day visit. :)
From the time we went into this park, the kids were amazed at the "big golf ball" as they called it. The weather had finally cleared up and we didn't need our ponchos anymore. The very best part of the day was the Illuminations show. We were very lucky to find some great seats to enjoy it. Here are some pictures from our time spent at Epcot. :)
As I sit here making this post I am already missing the beach so much. I swear I think I could live there! I love the Isle of Palms in Charleston and the place we stay at is so family oriented and clean. We always have a blast and time seems to fly by when we are there. Of course I always take a ton of pics but I have narrowed them down for a slideshow. Hope you enjoy!
So Troy and I have been planning this surprise trip for months and months. It was so nice to finally "let the cat out of the bag!" I had researched all different kinds of ways to tell the kids to surprise them, but in the end we chose to let Mickey Mouse call the house. Once he congratulated them Mommy and Daddy brought out a bunch of Disney gear and toys to show them and explained to the kids where we were going. I am like a kid myself because I have never been before and I can't wait to experience this wonderful vacation with my family come June!
GG with the great grandchildren Mimi and Papa We had a wonderful Easter celebration this year! After an amazing church service of worshipping our risen Lord and Savior we went over to Mimi's and Papa's house for our annual Easter egg hunt! The kids always have a blast and try to see who can find the most eggs. The best part though is when they open the eggs and discover the money inside. LOL! The weather was nice and warm and we could have played outside for hours.
Another year has passed and my little man keeps growing up so fast! When he first mentioned the Angry BIrd theme I thought there was no way I could pull that off. However, after many nights of searching on Pinterest and Google - Mommy found a way to recreate some great party ideas! I had the best fun making all the food with the cutsie sayings on them.
Each year at Pine Island, we have been blessed with beautiful weather and this year was no exception. It was a little chilly in the shade, but in the sunshine it was perfect!
Dawson just loves riding his bike all over the yard now. He recently took off his training wheels and I wasn't sure if he was ready but boy did he prove his Mommy wrong! :)
Dawson had a great time playing in the yard but these days he only wants to play catch with Daddy or have hitting practice. :) I am so very proud of how hard he tries and how self-disciplined he is already with a sport he loves.
Last weekend we went out into the yard and really enjoyed this beautiful SC weather. The kids were having so much fun and the little wild flowers out in the yard created the best scenery to capture some great pictures with my new camera. :) I look at these pictures and I am so amazed at how quickly my babies are growing up. It's so hard to believe that Dawson will be 7 years old in a week and that Mady is already 3!!!
